Let it Rain!

We celebrated our Friday the 13th by preparing for Valentines day and running errands. While we were out at the stores it started to pour. When we got home, it was still raining and I realized that Dani had never had a chance to play in the rain. So we put on her raincoat from grandma and went outside to look at the "waterfall" on the sidewalk. Dani had tons of fun walking up and down the sidewalk yelling and squealing her excitement.


She especially enjoyed touching the wet pavement. I loved how her hair curled after the storm.

After the fun in the rain we went inside to make chocolate covered strawberries. Another new experience for Dani. She tasted strawberries for the first time and LOVED them. She kept asking for more.

That night I cooked some macaroni pasta for Dani while we had spaghetti. She thought this was fabulous and ate much more than I expected. Dani is a very picky eater and so I am thrilled when I find a new food she likes.
