Cousins

This weekend we got the opportunity to go see Nana and Papa in Plano. Daniella was able to meet her cousins for the first time (pictured above left to right: Evy, Ashlyn, McKinley & Dani). While there, we watched Ashlyn & McKinley's dance recital & we were able to see Evy's blessing. Only a couple weeks later, the cousins will come and see Dani's blessing. It is so fun to have cousins so close in age! Evy & Dani were born about 2 weeks apart and it's fun to watch them develop together. The first time Dani saw Evy's picture she cooed what sounded surprisingly like "Hi". She has met a few babies and seems to enjoy watching them, but she seemed more excited to see Evy's picture than any other baby (even herself in the mirror). It's like she knew her from before.

Bubbles

Daniella loves to blow spit bubbles. On our way to Nana and Papa's house, she fell asleep and started to blow bubbles in her sleep. I had never seen so many bubbles from a sleeping baby.

Mother's Day

I am so glad it is finally my turn to be a mother. I love baby cuddles!

Bath Time

I just started work this week and one of my favorite parts of the day is now bath time. I get to spend it with my smiling baby and then our chat afterwards. The filming is not that great because I had to keep the camera below my face so she would not freeze up. If she focuses on the camera, she will just stare at it blankly; so, I try to keep it out of her line of vision.
