New Food Creations

Since Daniella loves to feed herself, we have started to feed her small finger foods. Cheerios are a natural favorite and peas were the only soft vegetable I could think of for her to pick up and gum since she still has no teeth. Trent decided to be creative and make her dinner into little sandwiches. She enjoyed her Cheerio pea creations. If you have any ideas of other quick finger foods, please comment and let me know.

So cute! You can cut up cooked carrots, or potatoes - just about any cooked veggie. Banana work too. Cheese cubes. Good luck.

I like cooked green beans, cut up in one-inch sections (like from a can), mandarin oranges, raisins and/or craisins, crackers (I buy ones made with whole grain flour), and cheese cubes. I've even made sandwiches and cut Keitra's up with a pizza cutter for her.

Thank you for all your suggestions! I'll have to try the pizza cutter idea for sandwiches and maybe quesadillas. That would make it much quicker than what I have been doing.

this may be too late, but some faves among my babes are:

pasta! (macaroni or shells torn in half), grapes (cut/bit into quarters), bread bits, rice, lasagna (sneaks in some cottage cheese).

and, wow, daniella is walking!
